More than 100 Camping and Caravanning Club campsites across the British Isles are located close to train stations and bus stops, and other forms of public transport.
A holiday especially suited for campers without a car, or even those who would prefer to sometimes leave their motorhomes or cars at a campsite while exploring the local areas, the Club has created a list of 115 campsites which are located close to trains, trams, metros and buses.
And the options increase still further for backpacking campers who like nothing better than to grab their camping gear and head-off to their campsite of choice. These sites offer everything that’s needed – from kitchens and showers, to toilets and drying rooms. Best of all, there are 120 of them now listed on a backpacker-friendly round-up on the Club website.

A beautiful campsite location on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, the Llanystumdwy Club campsite in North West Wales rests between mountains and the sea in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
